In Toulon, the jersey is more than just a symbol. It is a legacy, a source of pride, an unbreakable bond between a club, its fans, its roots, and its future. For the 2025-2026 season, Rugby Club Toulonnais unveils its new home jersey, faithful to the red and black colors and resolutely focused on movement, high standards, and excellence.
A meaningful design: when history inspires the game
The new RCT home jersey features a vibrant red background crossed by several dynamic lines that form “V” scapulars, an iconic shape that has been found on the Rouge & Noir's jerseys for decades.
But this season, these “V” shapes are not just aesthetic: they embody Speed and Power, two fundamental values of Toulon's game, but also of an entire region. Each “V” shape is a promise of movement, breakthrough, and forward momentum.
Inside the collar of the jersey is a subtle but powerful nod to the club's deep roots in its regional identity: the inscription “Coupo Santo,” the Provençal anthem sung fervently before each match at Stade Mayol.
A tribute to the region's champions
This season, RCT wanted to celebrate its local roots by involving four iconic athletes from the region in the launch of the jersey, who became ambassadors for the Red & Blacks for the occasion:
Axel MAZELLA, kitesurfing champion, cuts through the winds of Almanarre in Hyères, wearing the jersey on his shoulders. He embodies speed and fluidity, qualities that led him, among other things, to the European Championship title in 2024.
Valentin LAVILLENIE, a top-level pole vaulter, soars through the air at the Léo Lagrange Stadium. With his precision jumps, he symbolizes explosiveness and commitment.
Sandra HUON, a triathlete from Toulon and recent runner-up in the prestigious Ironman 70.3 in Nice, swims in the waters of Mourillon and walks along its corniche. She represents the versatility, endurance, and mental strength of female athletes from the Var region.
Christophe LAPORTE, bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, climbs the winding roads of Mont Faron on his bike. He embodies resistance, courage, and determination in a majestic natural setting.
